Larry Zulch

Larry Zulch - President & CEO, Board Member

As president & CEO, Mr. Zulch works closely with Mr. McCreery to direct company strategy and execution into the network and security markets. Before joining Savvius, Mr. Zulch was chief strategy and development officer at SQLstream, a big data streaming analytics software company. Mr. Zulch has also served as president and CEO of Photometics, Inc., executive chairman and interim CEO of PLC Diagnostics, and vice president and officer at EMC Corporation. Prior to EMC, Mr. Zulch co-founded Dantz Development Corporation, makers of data protection software, and served as its chief executive officer until Dantz was acquired by EMC. Mr. Zulch has served on the board of directors of several companies: FreeRange Communications (chairman; acquired by Handmark), PLC Diagnostics (merged with iNDx Healthcare), Cloud Engines, NeoLogic, and LESCO. Married and a father of three girls, he received a BA in Economics from the University of California, Davis.

Timothy David McCreery - Founder, Executive Chairman, CSO

Mr. McCreery co-founded Savvius, Inc. as AG Group with Mr. Zabetian in 1990 and served in a variety of executive roles while it grew into WildPackets and then Savvius. He has over 30 years of experience in the networking industry including positions as founder and president of Kinetics, founder and CEO of SilkStream, makers of network monitoring software, and VP of Marketing and Business Development at Excelan, a network equipment manufacturer. Mr. McCreery has served on the boards of Clear Ink and Tut Systems and is currently on the board of Youth Homes, a non-profit agency serving at-risk foster care children in Contra Costa County. Mr. McCreery graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with bachelor's degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics and Psychology and a Master's degree in EECS.

Mahboud Zabetian

Mahboud Zabetian - Founder, Board Member

Mr. Zabetian served as President and CEO of Savvius for 10 Years before taking the role of Chairman. Prior to founding Savvius, Inc., Mr. Zabetian held several different technical roles at Princeton University, Kinetics, Excelan, and Novell where he developed a number of network management, performance, and productivity tools including the EtherPeek program. He was also Founder and Chairman of Timestamp.com. Mr. Zabetian came to the U.S. from Iran and received his EECS degree from Princeton University with a special interest in computer networking.

Jeffrey F. Wheeler - Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Wheeler manages accounting, banking, finance, and investor relations for Savvius. He brings a long record of business success which includes building start-ups, managing explosive growth, and leading turnarounds in mature companies. Mr. Wheeler has arranged over $100 million in debt and equity financings, has prepared two companies for IPO, and has engineered over 15 merger/acquisition and joint/strategic venture deals since 1989 including foreign acquisitions and joint ventures in Japan with Nippon Telephone and Telegraph (NTT) and Canada with Saskatchewan Telephone. Mr. Wheeler has held senior finance and management positions in a diverse group of firms, including Glacier Bay, Wallace & McKenzie, Technical Communities, Swift Sports Optics, Zacson Corporation, Logistics Management, and BiRite Foodservice. He began his career in commercial banking at Wells Fargo Bank. Mr. Wheeler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Santa Clara University and an MBA from the University of San Francisco.

Mandana Javaheri

Mandana Javaheri - Chief Technology Officer

As Chief Technology Officer, Ms. Javaheri establishes Savvius' strategic technology direction, ensuring that the company is anticipating and responding to evolving market requirements. Prior to becoming CTO, Ms. Javaheri led product and program management at Savvius and was responsible for the company's product direction, roadmap, and strategic and technology partnerships. Ms. Javaheri started her career in Tehran, Iran, where she founded Tarasheh Pajooh, an Industrial Automation Company later acquired by a private equity firm, and served as Vice President of Business Development at Pajoohesh Gostar, an Audio and Conference Systems Company. Ms. Javaheri holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and a MBA with a concentration in finance and management.

Ron Lloyd - Vice President of Operations

As vice president of operations, Mr. Lloyd is responsible for operations and technical support at Savvius. Mr. Lloyd has over 25 years of experience in operations in companies ranging from early-stage start-ups to Fortune 150 companies. His expertise includes product development, product launches, material sourcing and procurement, manufacturing, and quality system management. Before joining Savvius, Mr. Lloyd was COO at QuickMountPV, a solar-hardware mounting company. Before QuickMount, he was COO of Fat Spaniel Technologies, a solar PV monitoring firm. He was also VP of the White Star (sedan) program at Tesla Motors. Before Tesla, he spent 14 years at Sun Microsystems in a variety of roles, culminating in VP of Worldwide Manufacturing in Operations and VP Engineer in the Network Storage Division. Before Sun, Mr. Lloyd worked for 7 years at Hewlett Packard in manufacturing engineer and manufacturing management. Mr. Lloyd served for 6 years on the board of Grid Alternatives, a company where he also served as president for 2 years. He currently serves on the Alumni Board of Governors of Harvey Mudd College. Mr. Lloyd holds a BSE from Harvey Mudd College, and an MS Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford with a specialty in alternative energy and sustainability.

Cecilia Parisi

Cecilia Parisi - Vice President of Human Resources

As vice president of human resources for Savvius, Ms. Parisi is responsible for all aspects of human resources overseeing recruitment, organizational development, benefits, compensation, training, and strategic planning. Prior to joining Savvius in 2005, Ms. Parisi held various human resource roles at several companies including telecommunications, retail, and technology companies where she shaped the company's culture while building scalable, solid human resource infrastructure. Her prior experience includes MCI where she was a Senior Human Resource Business Partner supporting a global employee population of over 400 employees, Gap Inc, as a Human Resource Manager where she was hired to provide human resource leadership in opening their largest store in the company, and Target Corporation where she was a certified field trainer for leadership and development management training modules and a regional college executive recruiter. Ms. Parisi holds a bachelor degree in Psychology. She graduated magna cum laude from Golden Gate University with a master's degree in Human Resources Management and taught human resource certification courses while obtaining her degree.
